Our client is looking for a Customer Service Rep - Home & Auto to join their team in Canandaigua, NY
This position pays around 45k - 75k/year DOE.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to coverage, billing, and claims
Provide clear, accurate explanations of policy details, including coverage limits, exclusions, and premiums
Process policy changes such as endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and updates to client information
Assist clients with claims questions and provide guidance through the claims process
Resolve client issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring high satisfaction
Generate and present insurance quotes, including comparisons across carriers when appropriate
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions within agency systems
Work across agency management systems, carrier portals, and internal tools to ensure seamless service delivery
Partner with producers and carriers to support client retention and account growth
Qualifications & Requirements
Active NYS Personal Lines license required
NYS Commercial Insurance license preferred
Minimum 2 years of Personal Lines insurance experience required
Experience working with agency management systems (EZLynx preferred)
Strong understanding of Home & Auto insurance products and coverage

Comfortable working across multiple systems, including agency management systems and carrier portals
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
