Our client is looking for an Estimator to join their team in Rochester, New York. The salary for this position ranges from $75,000-95,000 depending on experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Review scope of work documents including mechanical plans, specifications, client
needs, design-build information, and other documents to prepare labor, material, and
equipment estimates for projects.
• Attend site visits and walk through as required.
• Ability to estimate piping, sheet metal and plumbing systems to develop part take
offs
• Experience using estimating software with ability to manage and expand on existing
estimating databases.
• Work with equipment and material vendors to develop pricing to meet the project
needs
• Review subcontractors scope of work and receive pricing to meet the project
requirements
• Manage database of current bid opportunities
• Organize and manage bid documentation requirements
• Communicate with engineers, architects and/or project managers about various
technical details of a project
• Support Account Managers, Designers, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Engineers as
required.
• Comply with corporate policy on safety, work ethics and time constraints.

Qualifications:
• Strong organizational, planning and scheduling skills.
• Experience with Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and industry estimating software.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to details.
• Ability to review and understand bid documents, plan drawings and specifications.
