Our client is looking to hire a Branch Manager for the Brownsville, Texas location. This position has overall responsibility for all branch operations and activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Manage all branch activities, including but not limited to; developing and executing a sales plan to reach and exceed the business goal, managing counter sales, outside sales, pulling, packing, and preparing orders for outside sales personnel, daily administration of store operations including opening and closing of the store, managing work and employee schedules, ensuring all employees are trained properly for their respective job, and ensuring safety compliance in the facility.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to hire and train staff.
• Ability to prioritize daily work and delegate to staff.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to gather information and make decisions. Must have strong PC skills, including MS Office.
• Must be able to extract data from the operating system and create a working report.
• Ability to work hours as needed daily.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in experience. Minimum 5 years of management in the industrial industry with knowledge of products sold.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to efficiently use a personal computer equipped with a standard keyboard and mouse.
• Ability to communicate in English to provide training classes, to locate, read and report information.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Lift, lower, and carry products up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment – work in hot/cold temperatures through the seasons.
