Our client is searching for a Corporate Development Manager to join their growing team.
SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for generating measurable new revenue primarily through 1) the recruitment and onboarding of new franchises, 2) assisting existing franchises in ongoing business development, 3) identifying and onboarding multi-location customers across the franchise network, and 4) identifying possible acquisition targets
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in the fastener industry with specific focus on the MRO market.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Successful track record of direct sales and sales management in MRO industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including EXCEL.
- Sales and goal oriented.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong analysis and judgment skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
- Self motivated and driven for results.
- Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Committed to the highest standards of ethical professional conduct.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Regular travel a requirement; includes but not limited to:
- overnight stays
- visiting current and prospective franchises
- customers for training sessions, and presentations
- working in the field with new and existing franchisees
- Bring in new business by identifying and onboarding qualified new franchises into the Franchise System.
- Provide ongoing support as needed for new franchises.
- Identify and execute new business opportunities by expanding the customer base through multi-location operations.
- Identify potential acquisition targets and communicate those to corporate leadership.
- Identify and communicate relevant market opportunities and threats.
- Participate in sales and planning meetings as required.
- Provide reports to management as requested.
