Overview:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Electrical Engineer who specializes in data center or glass manufacturing facility design. In this position, the selected individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced industrial facilities for the world’s leading companies. You will work closely with their clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet and exceed industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination. This includes, but is not limited to, the stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge" as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction.
• May plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular branch of engineering.
• Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the chosen field.
• May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.
• Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
• Maintains continuing professional education as detailed in registered states' voluntary or mandatory requirements.
• Participates in mentoring activities in the department.
• Travel required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and full professional registration is required
• Twelve or more years of related practical experience.
• RCDD certification is preferred
• Knowledge of the following in industrial environments:
  • HV (>115kV)/MV substation/switchgear and substation yard design; Pole line design experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience with HV utility coordination
  • Low voltage (480V/400V) power distribution
  • Power generation (stand-by, prime, co-gen renewable energy etc.), and UPS systems.
  • Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
