Dental Office Administrator

The Dental Office Administrator is responsible for performing all functions of the front office as they relate to developing, coordinating and maintaining a productive hygiene schedule. As a Dental Office Administrator, you will focus on all essential duties listed while creating a welcoming environment for our patients.
This position pays around $20 - $24/hour with flexibility.
Essential Duties
- Answer the phone and triage calls appropriately
- Scheduling patient appointments, performing administrative tasks such as answering phones or greeting patients in the waiting room, and maintaining medical records for each patient
- Managing insurance claims and processing payments from insurance companies on behalf of dentists
- Performing clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, filing patient records, and ordering supplies
- Processing claims for reimbursement from third party payers such as insurance companies or governmental agencies
- Preparing reports on billing activities and submitting claims to insurance companies for payment on behalf of dentists
- Scheduling and coordinating the work of the dental office staff including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and other support staff members
