Our client a family oriented company that has seen 25 years of growth distributing designer flooring products. This position will operate out of Fargo, ND. This is a full time, non-exempt position with a competitive wage and compensation package. They pride themselves in maintaining a state of the art fleet of trucks and providing the resources their employees need to be successful.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Compliance with DOT Regulations, safe driving best practices, unloading customer orders to ensure a positive experience, maintaining company standards for vehicle cleanliness, and reporting vehicle maintenance or damage issues.

- Excellence in service to our customers, doing it right the first time, treating all our partners with dignity and courtesy, doing what they say they will do, and being a strong member of the team.

- Following SOPs to ensure accurate, complete, and timely shipping and receiving of product, safely and skillfully operating of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and ensuring accurate and timely follow through with all paperwork and electronic systems.

- Executing standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness, and organizing inventory safely and efficiently (wrapping, strapping, and banding) for storage and transport.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education / Certification: High School or equivalent, Current Commercial Driver License (CDL), Current or able to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card
• Knowledge Required: Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, DOT
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with Class B CDL
