Responsibilities

• Performs all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities with an asap mind set or according to date indicated and leads additional team members as required; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.

• Leads by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary, trains, motivates, and coaches others as needed.

• Manage inventory control process to ensure accuracy & assure quality packaging/product within the warehouse as well as assisting and leading audit activities in the warehouse.

• Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.

• Obtain shipping quotes when needed

• Learn and apply all policies and procedures of carriers

• Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders. Keep up with/have knowledge of all shipping regulations to include international orders

• Forecasts needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly and works with the warehouse / shop supervisor to ensure these needs are met.

• Performs administrative tasks as necessary.

• Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.

• Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the area.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
